Students are not required to have backpacks; although packs are good organizational tools for students. Backpacks should be labeled with student's name, phone number, and BJHS.  Colored tape or a keychain fob may help identify a student's pack, especially when other students carry identical packs. Backpacks are often left on buses, in the gym, and outdoors. Packs should never be left unattended if they contain money, electronics or other valuables.
